I used to watch this show all the time when it aired. Yes it's kind of trashy at times but it's fun. Did anyone watch this when it came out? And who was your favorite?

I love them, but after having read Holly's book "Down the Rabbit Hole," the whole environment sounds really forced and freaky and I can't help but look at it now and cringe. I mean obviously it was weird, but the way in which the girls' confidence and independence was so shattered... it's gross. Hef is revolting.

I haven't even read the book yet but i heard she had a really dark time there and with Hef. It's still fun to watch the show if you can look past that.

The truth tea.

Basically the relationship with Hef was contrived, he worked hard to try and make the girls not like each other so they would be more competitive of him, he destroyed her self-confidence and told her she needed surgery etc. Also it clarifies her real feelings on Kendra (which is more or less what we already know, but they're not speaking now) and divulges how contrived the TV show was, and how it was frequently edited and had things taken out of context so that Hef is always put in the greatest light.

The whole mansion just sounds really sick.
