It happened to me all the time. People just come and go so nowadays I don't want to expect anything from friends anymore tbh. I once got a whole group of people as close friends at the same time. We did everything together, every single day. We worked at the same place, then we all hung out together after work everyday for like half a year. Then everything just ended. People are ruthless let me tell u. I felt tragic.
I hate it. Seems like most of the friends or people I talk to just stop caring about me eventually. Many of them basically ignore me when I walk past them (I'm talking college btw).
It's not that depressing
What depressing is when you try to reconnect with them, but they already change and doesn't have any connection again
It feels so weird
after graduating high school I started to become used to it.
people that don't try to put effort into maintaining a friendship aren't worth looking back to/for anyway.
but its really annoying when said people post stuff like "I hate fake people and when people push me away, this is why I don't trust people" etc.
Not the most pleasant feeling. My friends are slowly becoming strangers as they cut more and more means to communicate with them, I don't know if we last another year.
Yes, it sucks. I'm only still friends with one of my original friendship group, and he's probably the one I have the least in common with. Massive personal drama last year, basically, caused the group to dissolve after 10 years.
