Probably not, but he's very selective about what material he gives to what star. If you're a flop or not that successful, you'll get a track worth $300k that sounds catchy, but not good enough to actually be a hit (see: Tori Kelley, Adam Lambert's last album, Cool for the Summer, Natalie La Rose's last single, Robin Thicke's new single, etc, and compare them in quality to the 1989 material, Love Me Like You Do, Can't Feel My Face).
