Yeah, I'm in the UK. And I know what you mean but I need to do well in my first year so that I stand a chance for vacation schemes (law firms use first year grades I've been told to see potential)

I need to impress them because I need them to, in the future, sponsor my GDL (law conversion) and LPC (solicitors qualification) because I'm doing a History degree now and I don't (and won't) have the money to do it myself
I know this sounds anal-y but I can't afford to f*ck anything up hihi
