Stephanie Pratt was smoking meth '12 or 13 times' a day

Quote:
Fans are used to following her glamorous jet-set life in The Hills and Made In Chelsea.
But it's clear Stephanie Pratt's perfect Hollywood smile disguises a dark past, with the 29-year-old battling depression, drug addiction and an eating disorder throughout her teens and early twenties.
The TV personality has now opened up about overcoming her demons in her tell-all autobiography, Made In Reality, revealing she used to smoke crystal meth up to 13 times a day when she was just 14 years old and living with her parents in Los Angeles.
In an extract from her book, published in this week's issue of New! magazine, Stephanie reveals that while attending Santa Monica's prestigious Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, she would smoke the highly-addictive drug before lessons and even on her 'snack breaks'.
After she was encouraged by a friend to smoke the deadly drug at the age of just 14, which is rated Class A in the UK, Stephanie was quickly hooked on Methamphetamine.
She said: 'I was 14 or 15 (when I first smoked crystal meth).... I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly.
'(I smoked) probably four times before school, then at snack... probably 12 or 13 times a day.'
The Made In Chelsea beauty revealed she starting using cocaine at around the same time, explaining it made her feel 'rebellious and grown-up'.
As well as being in the grips of a potentially lethal drug addiction, Stephanie would risk her life by frequently driving while heavily under the influence.
Her disregard for her safety came from a deep-rooted depression which left her wanting to die.
Stephanie insists her parents turned their heads to her terrifying behaviour as they did not want to accept her demons.
She added: 'I didn't care about anything. I could live or die, I didn't care. I had nothing to get out of bed for, nothing was exciting.
She recalled her 2006 arrest, where she was apprehended by cops in Hawaii for attempting to steal $4,000 worth of designer clothes while under the influence of drugs.
She says: 'I woke up handcuffed to a hospital bed. When I landed back in LA, Mum took me back home and I went upstairs to my old bedroom and I felt so much shame.'
The blonde beauty, whose fractious relationship with her brother Spencer was laid bare in The Hills, was riddled with guilt after disappointing her family during her downward spiral.
A successful stint in a Texas rehab clinic saw Stephanie turn her back on drugs for good and she later shot to fame when she joined her brother as a cast member on The Hills in 2007.
