No. I'm all here for one, but they can't be queen of pop. To be queen of pop, they have to be understood. The GP will never understand transgender people because they're frightened by the littlest things that is outside of their little comfort zone. Laverne Cox and Caitlyn slay though.

Why do we "need" one? I have nothing against the idea of a transgender pop star. But, I would like for that person to be successful for their music rather than their gender identity.

If a breakout artist broke into the scene and happened to be transgender, I don't think much backlash would happen, honestly.
