Just multiply Taylor's album sales for each album by the adjustment factor given in the table and you'll have the adjusted total to 1999's market.
Taylor Swift (2006) - 6,000,000 x 1.558 = 9,348,000
Fearless (2008) - 10,000,000 x 2.020 = 20,200,000
Speak Now (2010) - 6,000,000 x 2.644 = 15,864,000
Red (2012) - 6,500,000 x 2.782 = 18,083,000
1989 (2014) - 7,700,000 x (let's just 3.250 based on trends since there's no adjustment factor for 2015) = 25,025,000
Total: 88,520,000

There's no way Taylor would have sold 25M copies of 1989 back in 1999. She's hardly affected by the current sales climate because none of her music is on Spotify. I'd give her 10-12M at best. This isn't really accurate.

If Britney could do it, I'm sure Taylor could. She's been on top of the albums chart for almost a year now, it's massive. No one is pulling numbers like 1989 anymore

That ratio is amazing considering the US is the biggest market by far, and oh she's American

The ratio is not amazing. It's not terrible, nor unexpected, but it's not amazing. It certainly isn't a "universal" album. It's insanely massive in the US, and a success worldwide.

Shattered the lie but you think I don't already know,
Don't try to deny 'cause my fuse is ready to blow
It's your turn to learn I think that you know where to go
It's a shame shame shame for you
Lily's debut is hitting me pretty hard right now

Yes, she's big here I still hear SIO everywhere + a lot of 1989 tracks in some stores. I'd say WANEGBT and IKYWT were pretty big too, and most of my friends know the lyrics to 22

To be fair, Break Free is her best song, and those scenes in the video are amazing (and she looks amazing in them)

If this were 2000 sales climate, all of Taylor's albums would be certified Diamond.
But she's the biggest act of all time in the States.
