Again, the current model has allowed for the music industry to finally see some growth in several countries after over a decade of decline. The money is there, it's just not being allocated to the right people.

That's a fair point, there definitely needs to be more pressure on record labels to stop sucking up all the money but those are the evils of capitalism for you.
