Yes, but it should be optional. People who take AP Calc for example really only do it because they want to go to a top university. A lot of people I know don't even pursue higher math in college.

Math is cute as long as it's easy
If I don't understand it within 5 minutes after first approaching the topic, it can rot in hell!
So yes it should be taught in schools, but only by good teachers
