Both are extremely similar. Jennifer's Body takes many things from Ginger Snaps including the infamous walking scene. Ginger Snaps is a classic and amazing and Jennifer's Body is severely underrated but holds up on it's own.
Ginger Snaps has the better acting, better gore, and Katherine Isabelle slays but I think it's very dated and I much prefer the sequel. Jennifer's Body manages to cover teenage issues like body image, dating, puberty, friendship, and fame while being a fun and gory horror comedy.
Very close. I LOVE both movies. Could watch them all day I'll have to go with Jennifer's Body because the cast is brilliantly chosen and the story is funny in a dark-humoured way that many people didn't get and actually thought it was misdirected.
Jennifer's Body is NOT that great
Plot is okay but Megan Fox's 'typical hot girl gone wild (terrible acting) and Amanda Seyfried playing the 'typical nerd girl gone bad' is just boring.
