You can also replace Wiz with any other rapper as well and it would have been a hit. And with that logic Wiz shouldn't have been the one to get the award either as the producer/producers who decided to use their song should have gotten it, which to me also isn't right.
He should be the one thanking Wiz and FF7 for giving him a career.
He wrote the song though, the song was only possible because of him and right now it has over 300M streams of Spotify. Wiz wouldn't have done that on his own, he should have thanked Charlie.
He's right. He was the one that wrote and produced the song but Wiz ended up being the lead singer because he's the bigger star, and yet didn't even mention him when the song won.
Considering his part of the song is what makes it good and catchy, he has every right to be disappointed that he wasnt thanked, and he wasnt even rude about it. ATRL does too much on some people.
