Failed. Pop means simply, popular music I that it entails multiple different genres made for mainstream audiences. These include rock, dance, electro/techno, R&B, Urban, and the list goes on.
Of which, Hilary has sung pop rock, dance pop, bubblegum pop, electro pop, and synth pop.
