G.U.Y. era looks were so hit and miss. The hair and outfits mostly snatched (emphasis on mostly) but the makeup wasn't it.

I still don't get how people can call Artpop a flop. It's barely even an underperformance, and the only reason it didn't perform as well was the lack of good management and guidance. If people just listened to the album (minus G.U.Y ) They'd see her story throughout it rather than the terrible singles/videos.

The ARTPOP photoshoot and the "LADY GAGA IS OVER" short video back when the era first started got me thinking she would have explored more of the futuristic & cyborg-ish visuals for the era but instead it's just artsy stuff, face paint, seashells bikinis and Versace gowns

I mean she did have some cute "technology" stuff going on like the Volantis, mobile app () and bubble blowing dress etc but the "technology" part didn't really make up a large portion of the whole AP era as I thought it would be, it's kind of a waste tbh

Most of that kinda stuff was to do with her old manager though, once they cut ties the era simply imploded. All the cool things she had planned couldnt be used. Remember the cypher dress? it wouldve slayed.

They did the flawfree Cypher dress so WRONG it HURTS.

Im glad shes not going to space though, thank Christ that idea was dropped.

All the stuff on display at the artRave in Brooklyn was amazing and made me so excited for the rest of the era. Little did we know it was about to nosedive from there onwards.
