I remember watching that recent interview with Vili whatever and Mary Kay Letourneau, they had an affair starting when he was only 12 and they're now married for 10 years, and he said his advice to kids/teens that think they're prepared for adult relationships at that age is that they're not and that you don't truly know what you want at that age and you'll more than likely regret it. And that he'd never allow his own teenage daughters to date adults. An interesting perspective.

Completely agreed with you. I don't agree with this notion that "age = maturity"; everybody learns and grows from their experiences at their own individual paces and for someone to completely judge another's maturity and wisdom based on their age is just not right.
