actually you know in a similar vein to this it makes me really really uncomfortable when teenagers date adults and i can't support that. maybe it makes me not open minded or something but a 16 year old should not ever date a 20 year old. if a person is under 18 i don't think they should date an adult that's more than 2 years older than them

people need to realize that older guys that go after teenagers are doing so because they know a younger person will be easier to manipulate, and control in the relationship. It's not healthy.

I'm not sure whether it's so much that we mature or grow wiser with age as it is that our views of the world just naturally change over time and the farther removed we get from our old views, the more foolish or wrong-headed they seem in retrospect, regardless of which actually holds more merit.

i don't think /all/ kids are immature but the majority of people 16 and under are just not as smart as they will be when they're an adult. i know i sure as hell wasn't even though i thought i was. i know it's frustrating when you're younger to hear that you're immature and it's not like you have no use at all but there are some experiences you just haven't had yet that really change your perspective
