Honestly people change so much from 18-15. I want to believe teenagers when they say they're mature for their age but they also don't know what life has in store in terms of relationships, looks and jobs. All of those things change so much in early adulthood.

I do believe some teens are more mature than others, but I don't think that means they're mini adults like they think they are. You may be a mature 16 year old, but at the end of the day you are still 16 which is, decidedly, immature. You may be more serious or whatever, but you haven't had the proper experience that adults have gone though/are currently going through to be fully mature.
