To me Barbra Streisand is part of that old Hollywood brigade who lick each other's asses but are not taken seriously by anyone with actual appreciation for film or music. They will all be completely forgotten in a couple of centuries once the dust settles on this era and only true excellence and innovation are remembered.
I'm pretty sure Barbara Streisand is a legend (for some reason) and won't be forgotten.
That said, i don't know any of her songs or any movies she's been in (so maybe you have a point)
It's so impressive how Barbra still effortlessly gets #1 albums while Madead has no songs known by the youthful generation despite shameless pandering.
