given the fact the she is a experimental musician and every album have a very particular and singular musicality it's not a big deal have some levels in listen to her, even more for people who ain't in alternative and experimental music, they could easily quit of listen to her if they start by biophilia and medulla

i don't think this is the point of it, but medulla is her most unusual album, is very unlikely someone start with it and get interested on the others albums

i guess it's not about quality but acceptance for someone who never listened to her

I don't think it's a bad thing to create something like a chart or guide for how to get into an artist. Some artists really just have large discographies and don't know where to start. Imagine trying to get into someone like Elton John or David Bowie who have like over 20 albums.

I would personally rank her albums this way:

Vespertine > Homogenic > Post > Debut > Vulnicura > Medúlla > Volta > Biophillia

Bjork is amazing.

I managed to get into Dolly Parton without a chart and she has over 3000 songs and I am pretty sure she is nearing 100 albums

But Biophilia ahead of Medúlla and I probably agree.

David Bowie had a great discography, by the way. Solid and consistent for the most part.

Bjoke's music is just unlistenable. The way that her pretentious fans shame people for not loving every second of her discography AND proceed to hand out how-to guides with detailed instructions is forever going to be hilarious to me.
