When Zayn Malik recently followed Selena Gomez many fans immediately dubbed it a flirtatious move. But before we all send our Zaylena ‘ship boats out to sea, Sel has her own thoughts on the follow seen ‘round the world.
In a new interview with BBC Radio 1, Selena explained that she does know Zayn IRL, so she doesn’t think it’s “weird” that he gave her a follow.
“I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me, and obviously I know Zayn, though, so it’s not like a weird thing,” she said. “I just didn’t know who followed me. Thanks for the follow, Zayn!”
“Did I [follow him back]? I don’t know, I don’t think I did but I will right now. I should do it,” she said.
