Yeah, but they never come easily for me. I think I would need to move to another country to really learn a language.
Oh I see. Thankfully I'm a natural at learning languages because I learned both Spanish and Japanese without leaving my state (though it would be helpful if I visit the countries one day)
Well if you enjoy horror then "The Vampire Chronicles" is a good series and so are most Stephen King books, particularly "Carrie", "IT" and "Dreamcatcher".
For books with an LGBT theme "Postcards From No Man's Land" is really good. It's about a teenager that visits Amsterdam to commemorate where his Grandfather fought in the second world war, his sexuality plays a part in it as well. "Bi-normal" is also cute, it's a short book but it deals with a teenage jock learning he's bisexual in an American High School.
If you're wanting more Young Adult books then "The Lovely Bones", "Thirteen Reasons Why" and "Why We Took the Car" are good reads. They deal with varying themes like murder, suicide, adolescence, teenage rebellion etc.
Also if you're into Sci-Fi I'd recommend you read the novels based on the "Alien" franchise, they are actually very well written and gripping.
