This is true, but remember, that at that time 1964 - There weren't as many artists as there are now to dilute the charts. The Beatles were something new at the time as well! Also, you have to consider that at that time, the pattern of releasing singles was quite different and there were differences in music distribution as there is now. Singles back then could be released one after the other as they were released in single vinyl format. Of course having 6 #1's at the same time is legendary, but the music industry has completely changed since then, and I bet you if the Beatles were to release those same songs today, they would not be on the chart all at the same time. I mean, there are artists that have non-single tracks on their albums that are actually way better than their singles, but unfortunately because they weren't released as singles never make it on the chart, but the fans do know of these songs.
