2016’s The Jungle Book will use 3D, digital recording, and CGI “in ways no one has before,” according to the D23 panel. This Jungle Book is said to be “one of the most technologically advanced movies ever made.”
"The Jungle Book" will be "one of the most technologically advanced movies ever made," but watch the CGI still look cheap and unrealistic. It's not about how much money you spend on the technology/film, it's about the talented people behind the scenes who know how to utilize the technology effectively. That's why "Mad Max: Fury Road" looks better than "Avatar."
Anyway, "The Jungle Book" is iconic, but kind of boring. I don't know how well this will transfer into film. I only liked one song in that film, and that was "My Own Home." I used to hum it all the time. It's very haunting. Poor Indila/Kworb.
Can't wait for what the new recording of this song will sound like.
Hopefully they don't cut this song out of the film/soundtrack because of feminism!1 >__>
