What is the point of making a thread meant for "discussion" if whenever someone states their oppinion that doesn't agree with the OP, this keeps on quoting them telling them how his opinion is right and theirs are always wrong.
I've seen lots of threads like that and I don't think that's how it is supposed to be. Forcing the members to "accept a fact" isn't a discussion.

I agree. Like if you can't handle other people's opinions then don't make a discussion thread about it because not everyone's opinion will be the same

But it's a very important issue for me, it's not just a simple "discussion". Why do gay people tell homophobes to stop being homophobic? Should we just accept that some people hate gays and that's okay, don't tell them that's wrong?
