From my high school, asides my twins, there's two girls and guy I still keep in touch with. However I'm leaving my hometown for good this upcoming September and don't plan on returning so I don't plan to talk to them after.
After my first year of University there's three people I still talk with regularly. My ex, and two girls. I think the only reason we're still talking is because we have a group chat that's holding us together and that's it.
Right now there's a guy I've been hanging out with all summer, and at the start it was incredible - nobody ever made me feel so happy. However, now that the summers coming to an end and we both realize we're not going to see each other after this summer since we're both moving to different cities he's started to act cold and different with me which sucks, because the good memories I did have with him are being flooded with his most recent behaviour.
. But it's probably for the best. Even if it's hard, sometimes letting go of people is the right thing to do. You move on and find new and nicer people who treat you with more respect. I'm sure I'll work out in the end
