The Sims 3 - Every time I click on custom made furniture (from TSR) the game crashes

Everything is installed properly in the launcher but it either doesn't show up in furniture at all or crashes when clicked

Help

I think it has something to do with corrupted CCs

or, you could try this. It's a tool to extract sims3pack files into package files so it's easier to just drop the files in the Mod folder and not having to open the launcher and wait for anything, it's super easy to use too, here's the instruction

I don't know about the TSR spyware thing except for people who said they got viruses from the Ads on that page. What I do know is that they were a bitch to me back when I used to have Adblock. Not just the countdown thing but the fact that they sometimes give me a folder that didn't have the actual files in it at all, it's just blank or corrupted or something. I haven't download anything from TSR for ages

Not me just going on that site to see the link and the ad on the side was a Kaspersky ad . If only they were free in their glory days though, I used to love the celebrity sims creators there back in TS2 days

A couple of years ago, TSR had pay content. You had to be a "subscriber" to get the good stuff from the them. It's against EA's policy to make money off their creations without their permission. So when they found out, they threatened them to shut down their site. TSR was paying talented creators a small amount of money for their creation. So they were forced to stop making "subscriber" content, but they still have the "VIP" subscription thingy. Many creators stopped making CC for that site, like Newsea. Newsea DOES create pay content on their site, and if EA knew, they'd scalp their asses too. So most creators would use the term "donation" to get support for their creation which is fine, and others use Adfly to make money. I don't know if that's ok or not, but TSR was making a LIVING off EA, so they had to stop.
