It flopped because it was sung by Christina Aguiilera, and that's the honest-to-Kylie truth.
It was a wonderful, amazing track and she did it perfectly, but her brand and image had been damaged enough by the Bionic era that no matter what she released, even the best pop song of the year (and it was!), it was going to fail to connect.
don't forget it had little to no promo. only one acoustic performance still went gold tho! legend x ha power
