It says I've played Rihanna 306 times



But I haven't since earlier this year I've rested my library earlier this summer and I currently have over 100 plays of Rihanna .Now it says I have over 300

Why have my old plays been restored in my scrobbler? They don't show on my profile but they show on my desktop scrobbler

Yes, it looks very odd. 306 plays for Rihanna? It should be at least ten times that amount. Tragic.

The real question is why are you using windows media player

Try reinstalling the scrobbler and reseting your WMP library.

I've reinstalled my scrobbler 2 times

Have your restarted WMP? Or migrate your whole library to a portable hard drive disk and then paste it again on your computer's music file. That's all I can think of.

For sure, but I would reset the play count from WMP just in case.

But why would my scrobbler restore my original play counts but on my profile its normal

A bunch of my scrobbles and some of my artists are missing.

It has doubled or tripled (is this a word?) my plays for Marina and The Diamonds and made her my 2nd most played artist in no-time So yes mine's a mess

My scrobbler crashes every week when I try to import my plays, so it'll say I listened to a song like 7 times instead of 70 times. It's wildly inaccurate.

The app is buggy sometimes.

Don't mind it. You just need to check the stats in your last.fm page.
