Us Europeans should realize that places like Oklahoma are still extremely rural with very low population density. This means that public services like the police aren't always available as quickly as in urban areas or in Europe hence the justification of guns as a defense weapon.

It's funny because i bet the shop owners would be the first to scream about "freedom" "constitutional right to bear arms" Hopefully they get sued

I don't think this is illegal, Muslims are not a protected group, it's a belief system.

And that's a good defense but many of these people supporting gun rights are in urban areas not rural ones. I for one cannot fathom why open-carry are allowed in some major university. Plus there are several ways to deal with stuff without guns anyway.


OT: This is exactly why I don't support stuff like the RFRA. I may not support guns but I do believe Americans should have a right to a fair business.

There's that and automatic weapons being allowed. Having guns in rural areas is one thing I can understand, having automatic weapons in urban areas is just unjustifiable imo.

As for the larger issue at hand, I believe only government services should be forced to accept anybody regardless of race/religion/sexual orientation etc. Afterall, any business banning a certain category of the population is effectively shooting themselves in the foot anyway, there's really no need for extra regulation.
