I think P!nk will play it safe. Her singles since U + Ur Hand all pretty much blend together so I expect more of that. Her next album will do nowhere near TTAL numbers.

Beyoncé has an extremely loyal fanbase, but pop radio pays her dust. Like you said, the surprise tactic will no longer work, and I dont think she has that much momentum going it. It'll depend when she releases and how.
