Of course there's going to be a period of dating and all, and looking for the right home in the right city (although I have it narrowed down to Des Moines, Seattle, and some cute ones north of NYC), but to be quite honest, yes. I'm very set in how I see myself fitting into the world and I'm very comfortable with myself and my plans. Hence why I'm way more prone to liking older guys - I want someone who's got at least a vague idea of where their life is going and who isn't necessarily petrified of the idea that we could end up together.

Starting salary for my field in my city is like $62k already and predicted to rise dramatically before I graduate and get a full time position, so I just use that number as a bench mark for what I think will provide me a comfortable life that fits what I want.

The thought of settling down is so crazy to me. I can't imagine being tied down by a career or a mortgage payment. I have the world to travel and see
