I agree with underlined part. But there's nothing that can be done regarding this film. It's not as if Cannibal Holocaust changed people's opinions of Amerindian groups back in the 80s.
Shame on you. As a storyteller you hold a great responsibility to influence others.
This concept erases people's capacity to seperate reality from fantasy. They aren't lying when talking about the atrocities indigenous people suffer at the hands of white people, but this film's existence is not an all-encompassing depiction of them or their culture. I don't understand why people would think it is?
The film is about SJWs going to save a tribe of people being threatened by development but they get killed instead for tampering with the tribe ironically. The director already said the film is making fun of SJWs who arent self aware and they are falling right in his trap by protesting
