Are you serious? 5SOS weren't even a quarter as big as Selena at their peak last summer, Good For You's lowest position on the Hot 100 so far is still higher than She Looks So Perfect's peak position and 5SOS never even cracked the top 15 on pop radio...
If Selena performs at the VMAs (which she better
) she'll definitely be a main act, she is an established very successful pop girl who's currently slaying on radio, iTunes and streaming (not to mention what a massive celeb she is). They'll want her to draw in the ratings if she's performing
I also want her to promote in the UK and Australia. I mean in Australia she's currently doing better than certain songs that are actually being promoted heavily there so imagine how easily she'd shoot to the top of the charts there if she did a bit of promo

GFY is one of the biggest songs released by a female this year. Plus she had no problem booking the AMAs/BBMAs. Either way Selena's celebrity status alone puts her on that stage.
