Blank Space is literally one of the best pop songs EVER...perfectly crafted hymn
I know it's loved, it just doesn't stand out to me. The instrumental leaves me cold.

RAWM sucks. There are so many better songs on the album. What makes the general ATRL demography think it's any good? Anyway, I've heard it on radio last week and turned it off. Though I felt a bit bad afterwards.

I do agree with you in that it's definitely not the best song on the album. Would probably place it in the middle to bottom of my ranking if I could feasibly draft one without it feeling like Sophie's Choice.
Which? 22 or Blank Space? I don't really hear Lorde anywhere in 22, but Blank Space is like difficult-listening Lorde. The instrumental is basically just a shoddy Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V of Team's or Buzzcut Season's only with a shoutier, less subtle, and more obnoxious chorus (whose melody, structure and synth line are just recycled from Shellback's previous work on Lily Allen's Air Balloon, but that's a discussion for another day).

Shake It Off sounds even better now how does Lord do it
Shake It Off is a joyous pop record, it's so multi-layered and genius. You still hear clever parts you might not notice first time around when re-listening.

Not too much on I Didn't Just Come Here To Dance now. It's basically the '90s house anthem Katy tried and failed to make with Walking On Air.
Black Heart is...okay. Definitely has some cute elements (everything you ever wanted, NOW IT'S HAPPENING!) but I'm not too upset it wound up on the deluxe.
