A TV version of Nicholas Sparks’ beloved romantic drama The Notebook is in the works at The CW.
The network is developing a series based on Sparks’ bestselling 1996 novel and the 2004 New Line sleeper hit film, which starred Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
Unnecessary. TV adaptations of movies always feel so weird since they always have some stranger bitches playing the characters instead of the originals. It's hard to adjust to. One of the rare times it's actually worked is with Hannibal, but that already had different film adaptations at that point (and was a more interesting story overall than The Notebook).
