I don't know exactly what you expect us to do about it.

Blacklivesmatter is inclusive. Anyone can tag their message with "#blacklivesmatter" if they want to, even if their message isn't explicitly coming from the majority of blacklivesmatter supporters (as demonstrated by these lovely ladies). Regardless, it's nobody's business to decide how "serious" the movement is. It shouldn't even be a question. We're talking about a group of human beings' rights. It is serious. Always. Period, point blank, it's a hard fact and nobody gets to combat that. The problem is that we have a bunch of ignorant people who actually believe that we live in a post-racial society. That the blacklivesmatter movement is "unnecessary" and that we should forget about black lives, and focus on "all lives instead of the black ones".
I'm at least hoping that someone higher up in the rankings will speak out against this before the racebait headlines get a chance to do too much damage this week. The last thing the black community needs is for people to actually believe that this is how black lives supporters act.
And that's just another part of the problem. This is a bit of a tangent, but it seems like everyone is always more than willing to believe that all black people are "ghetto hoodrats" every time they see one isolated incident of a black person acting like less than a model citizen (but let's just ignore all the white people who riot and act like hooligans every day). It's always the black community's fault for not doing something right (even when we actually do it right). But the same people will be the first to say "don't treat ME like a racist just because of this one other white person did something racist". It goes both ways and it's stereotypes like this that are hurting both sides more than anything. There will always be idiots of any race. People need to stop expecting every single black person to be completely perfect. And stop using isolated incidents like this as a means to discredit the plight of others.
What these girls did was extremely rude and obnoxious. But it in no way speaks for the black lives movement or the black community. These girls' actions were completely self-serving, and anyone who tries to use them as ammo to tear at the black community (or explain "why blacks are treated the way they are) is clearly only looking for more reasons to discredit our fight for equality.
