Yeah. They meant to defend her, but got a lot of it wrong. The Lana Del Ray (2010) songs are very clearly the genesis of her BTD themes/sound. Mixture of indie rock and indie pop, bittersweet tone, talking about faded glamour, Lolita references, etc. And the album is ridiculously good.

I'm so surprised it managed to reach #1 Slay!

I think it will sell more than 50k first week with this rate.
