Serena is hands-down my favorite, I love how developed her character is. She's the girl who has everything but perfectly illustrates that everything can often be nothing. She tries to be a good person but her moral compass is sloppy af. The perfect balance between entitled rich girl and genuinely good person.
Blair is great too, and I totally understand why they used her to supplant Serena as the main character. The whole Serena-envy works great for her character because it shows even the most confident HBIC can feel a little insecure. It made her a lot more humanized, and her relationship with Chuck is twisted but well played out.
Nate got very underused in comparison to the books, but Chace did the best he could with the character and he still comes out as one of the cleanest characters on the show in terms of morality. I loved him with Serena - they should have gone with them together at the end, Dan's whole obsession with Serena to the point of being GG is creepy.
