she is definitely. she's such an amazing author and i love the way she writes it's just so beautiful and it's unlike any other author.
and the assignment was to read a biography/autobiography on someone who has positively influenced society and I have always wanted to read I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings so it's both

the thought of the weeknd becoming a full fledge pop star...... like baffles me to no end
he's so incredibly overrated and so. terrible. at singing. like i am still in shock essentially a year later that the studio version of Love Me Harder has him STILL sounding so dry and pitchy af.... bleh
a poor man's michael jackson and we JT is a good enough MJ tribute act from this generation, so no thanks he can keep himself

n most people in my class don't read their summer reading. I read all of my books though just because most of them are classics and I always view summer reading as a chance to educate myself more on the world of literature.

I remember in HS one year I straight up didn't do my summer reading. We were supposed to pick a book to read and write an essay on it and I literally just did not do it and somehow it didn't affect my grade all that much nn
