Don't get me wrong. I adore Canada and I think that Canada is a wonderful country and a healthy place for a family to raise kids. However I sometimes day dream about how life would of been had I been raised in japan. even if just for like 2 years or something

Sometimes, yes. But honestly i don't see myself living anywhere else but NYC. Everything i need is easily accessible and i wouldnt be able to say the same for other states.

No, Canada was a great place to be raised. There's so much diversity and acceptance here, plus free health care.

New York is very liberal and diverse so no, I think this was a good place to grow up

As a state: no, I love California. As a region: I got the desert part of California I would've preferred anywhere that isn't an oven from late May-early September

I'm still going to try living abroad to see if it's for me though. If it's not then I'm coming back to (a better part of) California

I'm extremely grateful im from the UK, we literally have it so good compared to the rest of the world, best country tbh. But I sometimes wish i was from Japan, the culture there seems so awesome and everything is so cool
