Have you not seen Janet Jackson or Tina Turner? Madonna is a good but Janet and Tina are definatly the best female performers of their generation and of all time. Beyonce is the best of her generation though.
Janet is a better dancer than Bey, but overall I find Bey more entertaining for the same reason I find Michael more entertaining than Janet despite her having more choreo. Vocals.

I think they are all magnificent. Although I like Bey more I consider Janet and Tina better performers than her. Without them there would be no Beyonce. Also I think Janet is the only female artist that could probably give MJ a run for his money. I personally don't think Madonna is on any of their levels though. None of her performances have ever impressed me or as some of you would say "gave me life." If I had to rank think on their dancing/performing skills it would definitely be
