Gurl, I wouldn't want TAYLOR #1 for 8 weeks if She did it with such awful sales.
I've never had a problem with Today was a Fairytale and You Belong with Me peaking at #2 because their short-term peaks just didn't merit #1s.
The last #1 song before Cheerleader to not even get to 180k in a week was...Disturbia in 2008.
Now we have 2 consecutive and that's a good thing?
but you know that sales are dying and all those things. compare their stremaings or something but not sales. compare airplay - it's still on the same level like years ago. but not sales.
a year from now we will find number one song who will have less than 100k sales.
