If "Jackie (B.M.F.)" got a bad-ass music video that goes as viral as the last two singles, along with an Urban radio release, it could go Top 40 on the Hot 100, for real.
It's the only song other than "I Bet" that is Urban sounding enough to go Top 10 on Urban radio IMO.
I feel like B.M.F. has a strong hidden potential despite being awkward in transition. It got that theme and vibes that certain people love. Coupled that with a bad-ass video like you said and it would go places. If Ciara was more iconic I could easily see B.M.F. being an iconic song. But for now it's just an opening non-single track .
Also there's something about this album; I didn't like it at first. I hated DLWML until the third listen but now it's my second favorite track from Jackie. Most of the songs really grew on me... except THIF and All Good.
Ciara was at her first album smashing because she was just a thug bitch. 1 2 step is still one of the best RnB song released ever and isnt easily to top. Now she has nothing to do with that street girl vibe. She is now more of a princess (its not something bad ofcourse) but that is not what the listeners want from her. When you compare the new album to her old ones you can easily see that she is cuter and more kind of a princess.
