Yes, just because she's young or doing pop now doesn't mean she can't be an acclaimed artist. It's all very well having tonnes of awards but I feel to be acclaimed your work must also have the approval from critics, something she clearly and consistently has.

It is harder to win yes, because you only have 1 shot, so it strongly depends on who was new in that 1 year too and when you put your debut album out when you're 16 chances of winning it are very slim, but it's obviously not bigger or more acclaimed.

Yes, she won AOTY and has been nominated multiple times. I'm not sure about critics etc, but the fact that so many people buy her albums (even before she had big singles) says a lot.
