Lily Allen has posted her strongest hint yet that her marriage to Sam Cooper is in crisis.

The "Smile" singer has been spotted without her wedding ring on numerous occasions since August last year.

In a new Instagram post Lily is wearing her wedding band - but held it over a copy of a poetry book tellingly called 'I will never be beautiful enough to make us beautiful together'.

She fuelled fears by captioning the cryptic picture “Hashtagsadface”.

Lily also took a lonely selfie in her bathroom, which she captioned “Selfie selfie someone elsey”.
