I really couldn't care less

I learned to handle the stick when I was student driver, however my car is automatic and I will continut to use automatic, how else am I going to periscope my life if I have to waste one hand on the ****ing stick, ********.

I do drive stick. Manual gear is much more economical and your driving style decides wether you save gas or not. Most people in europe drive manual because gas prices are really high.

but driving manual is much more fun. I recently could drive a bmw 530d with manual gear and it's such a nice feeling to accelerate with a powerful engine while changing gears yourself

Why the **** would I care about being a "real" driver? I want to get from point A to point B, end of. Automatics are easier.

Even the girls diss each other with "You ain't disabled!" on this side of the Atlantic.
Then you can choose where you want to be on the power/torque curve.

Maybe in a huge metropolitan area can someone get away with a bike but especially in the western states because it isn't as populated, would be impossible to get to work with just a bike. Everything is so spread out that if you don't have a car, you're screwed. My dad works 45 minutes away, I work 25 minutes away. It would take a long time to get to work on a bike. The way the transportation system is set up isn't bike friendly in the West.
