The last scene (third episode) was enough for me to understand the majority of the mystery.
I instantly thought of a logical explanation for the town and everything what's happening, looked up for a book summary and turned out to be right.
I'm finally caught up on the third and fourth episodes. I'm so confused by all of the major character deaths already. I like where the story is going, though. It's different than what I originally imagined.
