The Premier League 2015-16 is the 24th Premier League edition in England ever since its creation in 1992. It started in August 08th, 2015.

Chelsea FC comes into the season as defending champions of the 2014-15 Premier League season.

Twenty teams currently compete in the Premier League 2015-16, 17 of them having participated on the 2014-15 season plus 3 promoted teams from the 2014-15 Football League Championship.

The former 2014-15 season participants are:
Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Southampton, Swansea City, Stoke City, Crystal Palace, Everton, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City, Newcastle United, Sunderland, and Aston Villa.

Hull City, Burnley City and Queens Park Rangers - 18° and 19° and 20° respectively in the 2014-15 season - were relegated for the 2015-16 season and replaced by AFC Bournemouth, Watford City - 1° and 2° in the 2014-15 Football League Championship - and the FL Championship play-off winner, Norwich City.

Chelsea started off the current season with a 2-2 home draw against the only Welsh team of the PL, Swansea City. Other results are:

Whole performance was just awful, Ramsey in particular. To make things worse the goalkeeper who is supposed to be our Savior is at fault for both goals.

Arsenal getting a critical 2-1 win over Crystal Palace + Spurs blow a lead and are lucky to walk away with a 2-2 tie against Stoke City + Chelsea losing 3-nil to Manchester City = a good weekend.

Except that Sunderland has hit rock bottom. Happy to see Chelsea suffering this season, though.

It's up to AFC Bournemouth to see if they'll share last place with SAFC or not.

Leicester starting off greatly, just like last season. Will they keep up the pace?
