Wow that women producer thread is making me a bit heated now. "Women don't produce because they're not talented enough and it just so happens men are, it has nothing to do with sexism!!!11" really. REALLY. And I suppose there's an extreme lack of women in the science and mathematics fields because women are just naturally dumber and our little girly brains can't handle difficult things and we only ever think of flowers and lollipops and it has nothing to do with society telling and treating women that we're lesser I am going to ****ing scream

I am always shocked and embarrassed at how on a site where the vast majority of the members feel some form of discrimination or oppression on a daily basis there is still so much blatant sexism/racism.

From what I've noticed gay men tend to have the same rates of being misogynistic as straight men do, honestly. I don't agree when people say that gay men treat women better, maybe they don't sexually harass us yeah, but when it comes to seeing us as equals they're pretty much on the same level as straight men are.

Reminds me of all the drama around #GamerGate and Feminist Frequency/Anita Sarkeesian.
