My summer's been the same. I went to Atlanta one day but that's it

Summer is so overrated. Before it starts everyone is like "omg so many plans this is gonna be the best summer eva!!!1" And then mid August comes and everyone is like "worst summer ever."

I've had a pretty good summer, with a short term job contract and 3 concerts. However, like any other season, it's romanticized into something its not. Summer isn't a music video 24/7 like we amp it up to be in early June..

Just found out my uncle is dying of cancer and only has a few months left. I'm devastated but at least he won't have to languish in pain for very long so maybe it's a blessing in disguise

I don't see my extended family all that much but I always liked him. The thing I'm most sad about is that he only has one child, and he's going to be alone with his mother when his dad passes. My cousin is like 19, so he's an adult technically, but still I know it's gonna be hard for him without his dad there ya know
