Katy Perry and Zac Efron were dragged for using this hashtag on twitter. While I understand #BlackLivesMatter was created because of the high amount of police officers shooting black people down, these last two stories show that police brutality is shown with more than just black people as we've now had stories of gay people being beat up and dogs being shot for no good reason.

To me the, #AllLivesMatter hashtag now has stories to back it up and actually make it a reasonable. It's not just about #BlackLivesMatter anymore. It's #AllLivesMatter to me now. All races, sexualities, genders, and living beings.

and no one was saying white lives didn't matter? that wasn't what the hashtag was about- it wasn't about saying only one race deserves to live but instead drawing attention to the lives that are being targeted because of their skin color.

As a white person myself, I find it extremely hard to understand why so many white people are so obsessed with making sure that everything includes them. Like is it really THAT frustrating that everybody already presumes your life matters and therefore it would be completely pointless to remind people of it? Whenever I see #AllLivesMatter or #WhiteLivesMatter, I just read it as the person saying "Hey, no fair! Why does everybody else get to suffer discrimination and injustice but I don't!?" I mean just quit while you're ahead
